Los Angeles AD Report
Geary's, Century City.
Spoke with them earlier this week inquiring about an OP39 Black Dial. Was told that they see them from time to time. Went there in person, spoke with the same SA I talked to on the phone. Was informed that they rarely see them. SA was wearing a Hulk. Tried to get me to look at a few Datejusts, not interested in those, at least right now. No SS or PM Sport Models on display. A few Day Dates, Datejusts and a plethora of 34mm and smaller OP's, Ladies Watches etc. Another customer was in there with what appeared to be a GMT Master or Sub on the tray, didn't get a real good look (it was upside down) SA took my name and number. I'll shop around, there are several AD's in my neck of the woods, so they aren't the only game in town. Kind of wish I would have jumped on the used one at Bernard last week or the one that DavidSW had for quite awhile. Anyway, thought you chaps and ladies might like the report. Take Care. Scott |

Sounds incredibly boring and business as usual. Thanks for the update though, always appreciated.

I am hearing the 39 OPs in any dial are tough to come by at ADs.

I'm going to try Polachecks in Calabasas next, then maybe Saint Cross after that. If any LA members can heed advice regarding AD's, I'm all ears. I'm in the SFV btw. |

Copy that. Might have to go Grey on this. Interestingly, he seemed to push the Explorer 1 like that was "doable", I told him I would consider that. Of course, if they brought one out I probably would have bought it on the spot.

Crown and Caliber has one, full kit. $6200.00, very tempting, but I kind of want the full warranty.
