Question About 16710 Bezel Serif & Fat Fonts W/ Pepsi, Coke, Black
So here is my question? Which fonts belong on which bezel during what time frames. Specifically the Pepsi where even late models are sans-serif yet there are some bezels from early 90s models with a serif font being used.
The reason for asking this is that I recently ordered a Pepsi bezel for my 16710 and noticed my current (2005) black has serif fonts on it. The Pepsi bezel I ordered does not have serifs. The ideal bezel for my watch would be a period correct pepsi. This is where things get weird. If you are looking to buy a genuine coke bezel. Most early models have no serifs and thin fonts. Then it looks like early 2000s they switch over to serifs and a thicker font. The black bezel shares the same story as coke. |
