explorer model number?
hi all,can anybody tell me what model number a 1981 explorer 2 should have...16550 or 16570? its a black dial model if that makes any difference? thanks in advance

Think you mean Explorer 11, Mod 1655 with the cal 1575 1972 mid 1980s.Mod 16550 with the cal 3085 1984/5-1988,then 16570 with cal 3185 1988/89 on

thanks,yes your correct the explorer 11. so a black dialled 1981 model should be a 1655 is that correct?
