What kind of dial is this?

I've never seen this dial before. Anyone know what its called?

Its from the mid 80's to late 80's and know as the "Boiler" dial because it looks like the dials(gauges) that are used on boilers.

Cool, thanks. Seller said it was made in 1985, but I actually doubted it because for some reason it just had a much more vintage look to me. Still a no go, however, we couldn't negotiate a price

Boiler gauge dials are pretty rare, but not particularly valuable..

"Boiler gauge dial"; never heard that name until now, but I have seen several of them. They also came on the 6694 manual wind Rolex date model in the 80's.

No, the dial exists. And I think it is unfair to assume the watch or the dial is fake just because the dial itself is unusual (or not recognised).

Some of the white ones are but also came in cream(off-white) aswell as other colors such as royal blue.

I also was not familiar with the term Boiler gauge dial
Maybe these dials were made for the U.S. and Canadian markets..?
