Let’s have it... who is getting the Tudor P01

I am going back and forth, but the P01 would fit in my collection nicely, I like somewhat un-usual watches but with a classic look and I think it fits well within that category. Actually the only thing I am not sure about is the strap, I usually don’t like straps, all my watches have bracelets... the original P01 did too.

You know, I am definitely going to check it out. This one has to be tried on first. I don't see them being hard to come by so the ADs should have some available when they come out.

I wish when they did the depth testing on it they left it there!

Those end links ruin it, one is to lock the bezel so they are not going anywhere.

My initial thoughts were that it’s too unusual looking for me but I may be swayed after next Tuesday as I’m hoping I’ll be able to see one in the flesh at an Tudor event I’ve been invited to.

I like it, but I'm a little skittish about the size, although I do own a few 42mm watches that I like.

The new AD in town doesn't carry Tudor, or at least they didn't when they first opened, but they did say that can get one by request.

I plan to discuss it with them soon.

I predict that this watch will be a lot more popular when people get a chance to see it and try it on.

It's good to see something that challenges the traditional diver's watch motif.

The watch case is odd and the strap set up is different. Not my cup of tea. However credit to Tudor for trying something new. I like the dial and the looks of the bezel.

Zero chance. I don’t expect this one to have broad appeal, either. Should make it more available for those who do appreciate it.

I have no interest in buying one at this point, but I am looking forward to handling one and trying it on. I could easily see this becoming a "cult favorite" and super collectible in 20-30 years when a new generation of collectors looks back to the past. Reminds me of the Ploprof for it's complete and total absurdity combined with an oddball charm.

I've tried this watch on and it's worse in the flesh than it is in the pictures! A shocker.

Although I am 99.99% certain this will not be making it into my collection, I do want to see it in person.

I definitely am interested in seeing it in the metal and plan to do so as soon as it hits stores. I would not pay retail for this piece but if it doesn't hold value on the secondary market I will def be looking to pick one up in 2-3 years if it drops under about 3k.

I'm in the "hard pass for now until I see it in person" camp. It does look unique - I'll give you that.

It's certainly an interesting piece, and I do appreciate that quality of the brand; however it would see no wrist time for me whatsoever, as it is not what I prefer style wise.

The watch itself is well executed and they totally nailed what they were aiming for. Visually the transition to the strap is not what I would prefer to see, as the extra metal is a bit off-putting to me personally.

I don’t see what this watch has to offer that’s not already in the Tudor lineup. Feels like more of an attempt at fashion.
