Yes I have seen it on there
But it’s not showing on multiple local AD Sites

Interesting but I think it's just a matter of navigating to the current watches category versus the new.

I have a feeling this is a glitch in the rollout. Just spoke to an AD whose website it’s NOT said they are still available.

Doesn’t Rolex announce what’s getting discontinued at Basel?

Maybe but there is still the lack of pricing in the new catalog

Someone asked if maybe Rolex knows more than the ADs.

Let me ask this- if all of these sites showed the BLNR at some point, what caused them to all be removed? That simultaneous action speaks more than anything else.

The Rolex section of the website for a lot of these ADs looks nearly identical (perhaps same back-up code content). I'm wondering if this was provided to them by the mothership. Perhaps some ADs haven't updated their sites yet, which may explain the disparity.

To add one additional datapoint, Gearys no longer lists the LN or BLNR on their GMT page but does include the Sub LV (they also have the Smurf listed too). They are biggest AD in LA (3 locations).

So HERE is the big question. Do I put my 1 year old BLNR in the safe and pick up a Smurf or Royal Oak.... or continue to enjoy knowing RSC can bring it back to life in the future if needed?

Batman is still listed on their website, for $8950.00.

Why put it in a safe ? I have never done that with a discontinued model, price will still rise unless you find that you really abuse your watches and want to keep it as mint as possible to flip or trade.

But possible Rolex discontinuation a great excuse to pick up an Oak. Wondering why I never used that one in the past. I would have ended up with 2-3 more watches!

The BLNR is so popular I could not imagine Rolex would discontinue it. They could update the movement or case like the DJ2 to DJ41, but why stop it? If they did so, we owners may be sitting on a collector’s item.

If you click through out of the direct link that is the New Watches for 2018 and go to the normal Watch page offering and your click on the Bezel filter you will see the BLNR.

That takes you away from the dealers page and to Rolex website

Exactly, if the main Rolex page still has the BLNR then isn't that the ultimate standard?

True, true, many AD sites I've visited have it and then some don't. I have no idea what's going on.

Relax folks. The watch is still on the official Rolex website. Unless it suddenly disappears, these rumors are simply Bravo Sierra.

This is the exact quote from thier article.
"That also means the popular "Batman" black and blue bezel Rolex GMT-Master II 116710BLNR is now very likely to soon be discontinued (or perhaps updated) even though Rolex claims it will live side-by-side with the new 126710 GMT-Master II models."

"Very likely" is not a claim! They even say "perhaps updated"...
He originally said it was discontinued, as Mozzer showed. What you quoted is an updated version of the article. FWIW, your quote is the most recent, so Adams reversed his original claim of discontinuation.

What triggered a mass delete of the watch from unaffiliated dealers across the Internet?

Unfortunately that’s not how it works with Rolex. It could be on the website and still discontinued. We have prior examples where that was the case.

At the end of the day it makes sense that this version will be phased out. The question is will they update it or not.

BLNR Discontinued

Whats a BLNR?

Just kidding! Yea so on my AD website, it isn’t listed nor is the LN. but my guess is every AD has the same website link given to them by Rolex... so chill, could just be a glitch on Rolex’s end of things since they still have it on the mother website . No need to rush your BLNRs into the vault lol

Really hoping it has not been discontinued otherwise passing up one at Christmas for $8,650 out the door with a $850 gift card from my local AD will haunt me forever! I had not long bought the SD43 and wanted to wait another year to get the BLNR so was hoping to pick one up end of this year

Never understood putting a discontinued watch in the vault, every reference gets discontinued at some point!

Agreed. Until it disappears from the website, or we see it deleted from the catalog shipped to ADs with orders it cannot be ordered, I would say the rumor is still a rumor. I would not say it's Bravo Sierra. It could be correct, and just too early to know it for sure.
