I was in this same predicament this past March as I was traveling to Italy. I ended-up taking something other than my Rolex SeaDweller, and I regretted it. I agree with the sentiment that you only live once. Cancun is a very safe place. I have been there several times and you would have no worries wearing either of the Rolexes.

I have my Rolex covered with insurance, so it I lose it, it gets stollen, ect it gets replaced. I saw wear it!!! We all bought our watches to enjoy them and show them off, so why hide it on vacation. I have been on Vacation many times and have made contacts for both business and friendship, so enjoy the watch and bring it along!!!!

Soooo...If you wife wasn't afraid to wear hers, why would you not wear yours? If someone were to rob you or her wouldn't they take both watches regardless of what they were?

Depends on which part of mexico you going...seems like your going to a resort..then Rolex should be fine...I can go to a resort here in the US and still can get mugged by crazy people..your all good..enjoy it!!

Thanks all..But when the economy is bad it makes people alittle more desperate. And I know from experience I let my wife wear what ever she wants. She has a Seiko too but she wanted to wear her rollie. Never argue with a woman.
