Submariner 116618
When I went to London on Monday I had a look at a 116618 'all gold' Submariner and I was blown out of the water by it's beauty! So since Monday i've been phoning round AD's to see if I could get a reasonable discount on it.
The reatail price is £16,960 and i've managed to get the price down to £13,900 with one AD. Is this a good deal or should I haggle a bit more? Also should I get the all gold over the new TT Sub i've got on order?

The all gold sub is a beauty and I prefer it over the TT bluesy. We are not allowed to discuss the price here, I believe you could get a much better discount for all gold. you already have two subs and one SDDS, for a change why don't you get the all gold GMT IIC?

Yeah, that would be news to me if we couldn't talk price.
I'd say that's a reasonable deal. It's not 20% but it is close to it. I you like it, buy it!

Danwealth might be thinking of another forum (TZ).
Anyways, I'd always go all gold over a TT. I just sold my TT GMTIIC as it just couldn't get on the gold steel clash in colour. I've seen the new gold subs too and that are just so amazing looking, esp the black bezel/faces ones. As mentioned above you've got a couple of SS Subs already and the DSSD so if you got the TT would you really wear it? If I had your collection i can't think of when I would wear the TT. As for the price you've got an 18% discount which is OK but I'm sure you could get better out of London with a small independent store or even a grey dealer. |

We can talk about price here. It's fine.
I'd say you could do better than 20%. I'd talk to TempoKing if I were you!
