How do you use the fourth hand?
For example, a GMT...
Super Noob question, I am sorry. Does it move with the other hands? Or does it just sit at a certain number and you can use that to mark the "12" Sorry for the dumb question....forgive me |

The 24 hour hand is indeed linked to the others.....it rotates one full revolution in every 24 hours, you use it to tell the time from the bezel only....the bezels on GMT's and Exp II's show 24 hours......the red (or green) 24 hour hand can be set independantly of the other hands to a specific hour on the GMTII, the GMTIIc and the Exp II's....but not on the original GMT's.....the original GMT's red hand was synchronised to the normal hour hand but told the time on the 24 hour bezel......12 o'clock midday and the red pointer would be at the standard 6 o'clock position but would be showing 12 on the bezel......

I have a white Exp II. I usually keep the 24 hr hand tracking 24 hour time for my home zone. When I travel I adjust the watch and the 24 hr hand tells me my home time.
