Anyone else interested in the new Speedmaster Super Racing?
Anyone else interested in the new Speedmaster Super Racing?
Appeared a bit busy at first glance. Looking past the thumbnail images however, I like everything about it. The watch in the youtube video is definitely something I could see on my wrist. love the dial and hands. The improved accuracy is amazing, 0/+2 seconds per day! I have liked the 44mm Speedmaster racing since 2017/18, but was hoping Omega would update with a slightly thinner version. That’s probably not likely. Thinking this new Super Racing is the one. https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/w...32930445101003 https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/om...cs-and-pricing https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qn6LXIIlnAg

I find it nice looking as well, but size is the issue for me too.

Looks good to me. I have always liked the 44.25 mm watches. I will check it out when it is available. I would probably wait for it to be available pre-owned. I would need to be 30-40% off msrp to get into this one.

Absolutely agree on the discount. Will try one on before deciding for sure. I like that size dial for Chronographs, tad smaller for 3 hand watches.

Reminds me of the Dark Side of the Moon black ceramic that I had... I loved looking at it, with the yellow highlights and skeleton movement, but it was just too big for me.

If Omega shrinks it to 40-41mm, this could be a huge seller for them.

I've pretty much decided at this point I'm no longer buying any watch over 42mm. Omega needs to size these down a tad.

The SSR ticks all the right boxes for me...no doubt one day it will occupy a slot in the watch box.

Yes I will get one. I don’t have a 44mm speedmaster because they have never ticked the boxes. This one does. I like yellow for a start!

Looks fantastic and anyone who hasn’t tried these size speedmasters on, try them! They wear much more compact than 44.

Waiting to see one in person. Already not the most popular but could work in the collection.

They look great! If I already didn't have a couple of Speedies I'd consider it although i have a leaning towards Aventurine moon phase version. Fortunately I can handle the 44mm size.

Got to try one on this week in Switzerland. It’s big and it’s a bit more yellow than you think it’s going to be but it’s really cool. The honeycomb dial is lovely. My wrist is 17cm and a bit flat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I like it! It’s the same size as my Speedmaster Moonphase so I think it would fit perfectly, but not looking to add another Speedy ATM. I think my next Omega will be a white dial SMP300 that I can swap onto a white strap for a summer / pool / beach watch. Maybe once I get a few of the other pieces farther up my list this will be my second Speedy. If $ didn’t matter though, I’d already have one. That honeycomb dial is super cool!

Love the black and yellow theme, but as others have said, it's just way too big for my small wrists. This would be really cool to see in a smaller size!
