Meisterstück Solitaire Blue Hour LeGrand Rollerball VS Meisterstück Platinum-Coated L

Montblanc Meisterstück Solitaire Blue Hour LeGrand Rollerball VS Montblanc Meisterstück Platinum-Coated LeGrand Rollerball

Can someone tell me what the major differences would be? Are we just talking a difference in the color of the resin they use or are there other differences with regards to the materials they use worth paying that extra $700 for the Meisterstück Solitaire Blue Hour LeGrand Rollerball ?

From what I've been able to find to this point is that the solitaire line of pens actually use metal and or precious metals. Too bad the Montblanc website isn't a bit more informative.

Anyway a YouTube video of this pen convinced me, so I decided to order one.

The solitaire pens are all metal and a lot heavier than the normal black plastic meisterstuck pens.

The blue hour, like my white tribute to the mount blanc solitaire, have resin or lacquer over a metal base
