Can a new Submariner be adjusted with the Glidelock clasp to fit a 6.5 inch wrist without removing any links? Thanks

yeah, what he said. I have a 7.5 inch wrist and still had to take a link out for it to fit properly.

Nope, I had to have two removed and it adjusted all the way in.

I have 6.5" wrists and have 3 links removed. I have the glidelock at 2-3 notches from the longest extension. Heath, u should try this.

Just to clarify: I will assume that you are not talking about removing permanent links.

You will not need to remove any permanent links but you will need to remove a number of the removable ones.

On my six inch wrist I have a total of 3.5 links on the 6 oclock side & 4 links on the 12 oclock side with the glidelock set roughly in the middle.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I am picking this watch up from someone out of town. He is having his AD adjust it any way I want. Given the above quote, if I remove just 2 links, will I be able to adjust the glidelock all the way in and have it fit? Thanks

IMO you'd like the glidelock to sit in the middle setting for adjustability in either direction. So take out as many links as required to be comfortable with the clasp set in the middle.

That would also work. I just like to have 4 links on one side and 4.5 links on the other side (it just seems more even this way).

Same situation with me. 6.5" wrists and the RSC took out 3 links this week when I had my new SubC sized. I am not quite sure how to use the glide lock system
