I just think 42 is such a great modern size. Every time I try a 40mm sports watch it always feels just a little small. The exception being the Milgauss because it was a thick 40. Even though the SMP is a small 42, it still wears a little larger than a standard 40mm sports watch. I certainly don't like a comically large watch like that Tarek El Moussa guy wears on "Flip or Flop," but 42 is my goldie locks zone.

I have relatively small wrists (about 6.7") and I think the new 42mm Seamaster fits me perfectly and I'm pretty conservative when it comes to what I think fits my wrist.

I ended up adding the seamaster rather than trade in the my bb eta. The seamaster really is a fantastic watch.

They are both stunning. I went blue because I have so many black watches. Can't go wrong either way. I think blue is a little more fun.

good choices on keeping the BB and buying the SMP

I have a BB Red ETA and a BB GMT as well as an SMP 300m in black on a bracelet (with 2 omega nato's) and all 3 have a very strong place in my collection

Thank you! Sorry just seeing this.

I have an Exp II and have been debating an Omega as well just wanted to check on the size first.

Just got mine today. Love this watch but i do have to dock it a few points on the bezel. Nearly impossible to turn. I wore mine in the hot tub earlier and tried turning the bezel with wet hands and couldn’t get the bezel to turn one click. Hopefully it breaks in over time.

Black on a Strap for Me

Got mine on Friday. I've had several Omegas, including two other Seamaster Pros. By far this one is the best by far. Yes, it does wear "small" or at least smaller than its 42mm case size, which is not bad. But oh so comfortable.

I went with the strap as I have a Rolex Sub on a bracelet, and have never been a huge fan of the more "busy" Omega bracelet. That said, did I not already have a diver on a bracelet I would have gotten both for my Seamaster.

Omega done good with this one...

Thanks. I ended up getting a bracelet for the BB and for me it's transformed the watch. I also have the hulk so I'm very happy with my diver variety!

Bezel is definitely no Rolex ceramic diver when it comes to that buttery feeling. I've found It's more a matter of finding the proper grip with the SMP 2018
