1957 Trilogy Box Set

Found one in a boutique today. Just arrived that morning and still in all protective wrapping.

The speedmaster is beautiful

Still, I think USD 21k is too much

Set is damn nice though

Still strikes me as odd that it's actually more expensive to purchase all three together than separately.

I am a big fan of Omega. You know this.

But the fact that these are still arriving is a huge indicator of some of production failures they are facing.

100% agreed. Amongst many issues. I am a huge fan as well and can't speak positively for some of the things I've seen/heard as of late.

Yes, you could buy all 3 for an easy 3 grand less and if you plan to wear them that's the smart way. But the watches in the set are unique in a few ways from the individuals and would be the choice of a collector.

I like them but am not a collector. I paid $6500 for the stand alone Speedmaster new and the other two can be found for much less. That's still high compared to half that for a Speedy Pro on the grey market. I am happily scratching and devaluing it almost daily.

Real shame they put “Trilogy 01” etc on the dial

Seems to have spoilt it!

As for the speedmaster, easily the nicest and I had to buy one. Pleased to secure a low numbered edition broadarrow 57. Gorgeous watch. Easily my fav speedy.
