Having owned the BLNR and now the BLRO, I do notice the red GMT hand pops a little more ... at least IMO

The BLNR works fine for me and my eyes. I use reading glasses as well. I'll admit that it did take a bit of getting used to, but I find the GMT hand fairly quickly

BLNR is my favorite of the choices, but I'd also take either of them if offered!

Having both the BNLR and the Exp2 polar, I can read both GMT hands clearly without my reading glasses in reasonable light. As it gets darker, the orange hands on the polar stand out more.
