Best first tool(s) advice for vintage bracelet

Noob request - question about basic tools:

Ok, I m not going to start opening the watches...but I should be able to manage a bracelet change.

On my first attempt at pushing the pin in a 1971 1603 clasp i made a scratch. I'm pretty handy, but i was in a rush and did not have a proper tool...never a good idea.

So now I have this beautiful 1016 that I would like to be able to put on a leather band, maybe swap out the clasp, maybe switch it back to SS someday.

Can you recommend the best simplest tool..i am guessing a pin on one end, a fork on the other? I dont need ultra gear..just something practical.

Also if there is anything else that is recommended to get, (small screwdriver for my sub?) i would appreciate it .

Thanks!

Stick with anything made by bergeon or horotec and you'll be set. Look at Otto frei's site.

i use a bergeon 6767, which has a fork on one end and a pin on the other. both are replaceable.

I have the Bergeon 6767-F but the 6111 large fork would be useful for leather straps on a vintage watch.
