114060 spring bar question
RSC gave me some shoulderless spring bars for my 114060 which I know they obviously wasn't designed for but the tech said they would fit.
I have had them next to the original bars and release they are slightly longer, they still fit but I wanted some advice if anyone things this maybe an issue?! |

I wouldn't do it. Those bars were designed for cases with lug holes. I think you will have a hell of a time getting them out when you want to change up the bracelet.

dom, nailed it like usual. Nice chart, dom. I've not seen that one.
Those springbars the RSC gave your are what's recommended if you wear a nato strap and/or have a drilled lug sub. They are extra power spring bars without shoulders. Why are you concerned with what the RSC gave you? Presumably the RSC saw your watch, and as long as the SB's tube fits perfectly between the lugs and SB pivots are sitting flush with the outside service of the lugs, you are good to go. Just make sure the SB pivots are reaching thru the full lug or close to it. Here is a good source for quality Swiss replacements for Rolex if you want to confirm. http://www.ofrei.com/page_155.html Last edited by perpetual92; 26 October 2015 at 08:38 PM..
