great Daytona c alternative

I was just at my Omega AD and can’t help but feel they have a wonderful alternative to the Daytona C, really beautiful Speedmaster racing, I’ll be ordering this watch next week it’s beautiful in person, has all the latest features, ceramic bezel, less money and it can actually be purchased! Not my photo, great dial texture that doesn’t quite show here.

You mean you want to buy a chronograph with a date and the ability to use the pushers without unscrewing them??
i don't know about that...

and a jumping hour hand for quick time zone changes. I can also see what the time is on that one, which completely takes the fun out of ownership...

I have one....it’s tremendous. Until you have it in front of you, you can’t appreciate what an amazing watch omega has made with this one. Not your daddy’s speedmaster.

lol....no screw in crown on the omega though. but does have a fully adjustable bracelet, not just easy link.
only concern i have is Omega’s weak quality control ive experienced.

I have to agree with you on that.

I’ve been to so many Omega and Tudor ADs and tried on all sorts of Speedy and Tudor Chrono.
I just can’t fall in love with them.

To OP
Congratulations on the purchase of your Speedy.

My friend, push the cool aid away.

OP, beautiful pick up. I’m a huge fan of that reference. Enjoy.

I think its beautiful watch. Compared to the Daytona, much better value IMO. Resale not so much, but that is not important to everyone.

I love everything about the Tudor BB Chrono.
1/3 of the price of the 500C and no waitlist.

Looks great! Post more when it comes in.

I settled for the 40mm Racing as the 44mm looked massive on my wrist.

Beautiful watch!

This thread got me thinking about this Speedmaster. Better value for money, better price and best of all, it will probably be easier to procure.

I've given up on Daytona.
