What would James do?

The question is easily answered. Which watch would James Bond choose? Black. I mean, who wears a blue tux?

Posted above... went with black. Would have been happy with black or blue but thought the black would be more timeless and look better on rubber (still waiting for rubber strap to be delivered). Like others have said I think w this version of the SM300, you really can’t pick a wrong color !

Is this rhetorical?

Are you referring to the "Canadian Tuxedo"?

I recently found an AD with both the blue and black dials. I really like both, but the blue is simply stunning in different lighting conditions and is the one I’m going to choose I believe. Also, when I think of the Seamaster 300M with the wave dial I always think of the blue dial. Sort of like the most iconic black dial diver is the Sub IMO.

These aren’t the best pictures, but here they are...

Blue is a little too bright to my liking and you can never go wrong with black

Thanks. Went with grey dial. Couldn’t decide between NATO, rubber or steel strap. Managed to get them all included in the deal to give me some nice options.

I was looking at these same two a few days ago. I really prefer the blue. That being said I was also inquiring into buying a rubber strap with the deployment clasp to swap out from time to time. I know how the black would look. Just not sure how the blue would look.

does anyone know if we can get the blue dial with the black rubber? Is it possible if we get the bracelet and get the black rubber later on?

how does this watch compare to the sub? Is the bracelet comparable to the sub's bracelet?

Haven’t worn it long enough to say. I prefer the Rolex Oyster look but feel is close so far.

I’m drawn To the 2 tone Gold ones. Either the blue dial with yellow gold on rubber, or the black version on ruber with yellow gold. But I have been checking my AD’s for two tone Rolex subs and gmt’s lately so I have been bitten by the gold bug.

I can't help but agree with you. I'm not a fan of two-tone watches, but something about this Seamaster Pro with gold...they just nailed it. I almost like the two-tone version more on the strap than the bracelet, which is odd because I generally prefer the latter.

Can't go wrong with blue, though. If I ever decide to add a black one, I think it will be that two-tone version.

You know, I should have tried the one on rubber at the boutique. Sometimes I like rubber, sometimes not. I can say the rubber looked cool. I guess I’ll have to go back to check it out.

I’m assuming they can be bought separately.

Always buy with bracelet and purchase rubber afterwards. To do the other way around would cost £500+
