Bracelet for a turtle
Hi all! As some may have seen here, I recently acquired my first (see how I noted it's the first) turtle. I really enjoy the rubber strap that it comes on, but I have been considering getting a steel bracelet to switch things up from time to time.
For those who have bracelets for their turtles, what do you prefer? I have seen both Uncle Seiko and Strap Code recommended before for Oyster styles, but how do these bracelets compare to say the standard steel bracelet that comes with some of the turtle models? I also have not ruled out a jubilee, so I'd love to hear what you all think works, feels, and looks best. Thanks!

I own a Uncle Seiko bracelet that I purchased for my Pogue. Great price and the bracelet could be better than the OEM of the time. You have a lot of options and the good thing is none of them are supper expensive.

Thanks everyone...sounds like I at least know I won't be sourcing an OEM bracelet.
I tried to find your posts re: strapcode but don't seem to be able to (sorry). Would you mind elaborating?

I’m a huge fan of the Strapcode Jubilee. I’ve got one of each type (jubilee, angus, endmill and oyster) Strapcode bracelets for my turtles and I always default to the Jubilee. Their build quality is far superior to the OEM Seiko stew bracelet.

I have never broken an OEM bracelet. Weight doesn't equal build quality. I like strapcode bracelets, but I prefer Seiko's.

I've got a gold Strapcode Jubilee like the one pictured above. I think it has great quality for the price. To me screw type adjustment links are always > fiddly push pins with collars.

Strapcode
I have about three Strapcode bracelets. They look good and fit well for me.

I dont' remember exactly how many I have bought from them but I think it is 6 bracelets. Either way some of them had stripped screws or the endlinks were not drilled correctly. They did not have the best service at all. If I recall they didn't respond. Either way there are better options like Uncle Seiko or WilliamJ at the Strap Boutique.

Strapcode solid end link fit is hit & miss. And not a fan of the buck tooth end link look either. I do think Strapcode flattened shark mesh are the best mesh available.

You have the choice of polished or brushed, as well as clasp options, with or without diver extension. dP
