I saw that too, I'm curious what features it would have as to not interfere with the Rolex "overlord". I realize they are two separate companies, but it's in the same way VW, Audi, and Lamborghini are. Either way this is potentially great news in the Tudor price range.

I was predicting Tudor to relaunch the submariner at Basel 2019. It might be interesting to see a TT Bluesy version.

I would rather wear a Tudor sub. I prefer 5 digit case sizes. Hopefully they do something around the bb58 size. Tudor is absolutely killing it right now!

Return of the matte dial! Here's hoping it isn't ruined by a Snowflake hand.

Maybe in the bb58 case. Another winner if they do it. I actually look forward more to Tudor than Rolex these days!

Please no snowflake hands and no retro-vintage patina. And let's try to keep it under 1" thick...
Anyway, I doubt Rolex would allow them to do a Submariner nowadays. That's probably why they came out with the Pelagos in the first place: a modern dive watch, but very different from a Sub.

Well there are rumours of a Fifty-Eight blue, but the Instagram dial is black

Feels odd that they would have 3 lines of diver at the same time. My guess is an expansion of BB58 options without gilt. They’ve built such a strong identity over the past few years with the Black Bay line. Wouldn’t a new Tudor sub reinforce the “poor man’s Rolex” narrative that did so much harm to the brand in the 90’s and early 2000’s?

The snowflake hand is a Tudor signature which makes it different from the Rolex sub. I don't see them moving to the Mercedes handset, I like the snowflake alot

agreed, don't see a move backwards.....More options for the BB58 or even the Gmt

Tudor has used both hands, but the Snowflake (until its recent revival) was actually on a minority of their watches.

This design would look awful with a Snowflake hand.

I don’t think we’re going to see the Tudor Submariner name come back. Why borrow more from big brother and deprecate the Black Bay name? Agree with the bb58 blue prediction. They’ve been doing well with the colorways so no reason to stop.

I'm looking forward to whatever they bring. Their last couple of Basel releases have been on the money so I'm expecting some more big things this year.

I'd even settle for the lollipop hand.

I'm betting on something like a submariner with a lollipop hand with modern case and movement.

It doesn't make much sense to have both a black bay and submariner line to me.
