Greeting from Arizona
Hello All,
Im new to the TRF but not Rolex. Ive bought my first and only Rolex in 1984 , a GMT 16750 . It was a birthday present to myself. I graduated USAF BMT in 1984. I entered Aircraft Maintenance School shortly after and became a KC 135 Crew Chief. I knew I would be doing alot of travel , boy was I right! My first trip was to Hickham AFB . It was in Wakiki where I purchased my GMT , a Pepsi of course! I worked my tail off for it and still wear it this day. It's hard to believe its a "vintage " watch . We've been all over the world together, Europe, Asia , Middle East , Desert Shield/ Storm, I discharged shortly after . I just found your forum a few weeks ago and love the posts I've read thru. I'm looking forward to making new friend here. Oh yeah I've got the urge to purchase another Rolex, just don't know what at this time . |

Thank you Guys....heres a shot of my GMT. It just came back from servicing. Its still retains the original dial and hands. They do not glow much any longer , Thats ok with me. The bezel inset was replaced for the first time. She looks new again!!
