Yes or No

Hi All,

What do you guys think of the below watch?

Rolex Datejust 36mm Steel/White Gold Mens Watch #116234
Rolex Datejust 31mm Steel/White Gold Midsize Unisex Watch #178274

I will buy a pair, one for the wife.

This will be my first Rolex.

I plan to purchase this in Hong Kong, can you get more than 10% discount?

Cheers and Beers!

Welcome to TRF and if you bargain hard it should be possible quite a bit more if you try harder. And if one AD will not bargain, simply walk away and fine one that will cash is king at the moment..

A nice pair for you and the wife..

Definately look for more than 10%.
Especially since you are buying 2 watches.

Talk to at least 4 or so ADs, compare and take the best price. See if you can't get a bidding war started.

Haggle hard on non sports models, especially if they have any gold on them. Good luck!

I think u should start at 20% and settle for 15% I just got about 12% and 0 financing if I payed cash I think I could have got around 18%

Thanks again for the reply.

I went to 2 shops in Macau and was quoted $121,900.00 MOP (Patacs) for the pair. This works out to be $15,228.66 USD
(1.00 MOP = 0.124927 USD).

What are your thoughts in regards to the price?
I will be going to HK, maybe this week, so I hope to get a better price or is this price good all ready?

Why haggle hard for "Non Sports Models" do these watches lose value quicker compared with Rolex without diamonds?

Who is the seller on the fourm? I cant seem to find them? Can someone please advise?

Cheers & Beers!

As I know, 8% off is standard, but if you get pairs, try to deal with them, it's possible I think.
