Mrs. Santa - part II

Further to the tale of my fiance, aka Mrs. Santa, surprising me with a Submariner Date this past Christmas, the love of my life has become a convert to the world of TRF and Rolex. She just got back from the AD with her new mid-sized Datejust-with jubilee band and jubilee dial! Attached is a photo I just received of the unveiling. Not only did she get the DJ, but check out the Rolex extras! (bears were not included but they do look pleased)

And here's the watch she chose... She really likes the mid-sized 31mm vs. the smaller ladies datejust. The lady has good taste, but then I am biased..

wow what an amazing gift and a great choice for her own time piece!

I'm constantly dropping "Engagement Rolex" hints to my new fiance but she's not taking the bait haha

Those extras look awesome!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. She is enjoying her new Rolex.

Seems like only 5 months ago she vowed she would never want a Rolex! Then she started looking over my shoulder while on TRF. Like me, she has a pretty nice watch collection, hers mostly in the "fashion jewellry" collection along with some nice Movado, Citizen, Bulova's usually with the Swarovski crystals, and a whole slew of fashion watches. She always has worn a watch that complements and accessories what she is wearing, be it business, casual, or just hanging out. Kinda like shoes and purses don't ya know! (Just last nite she commented that my Sub was the perfect watch for what I was wearing that day for business. Today, since I am wearing blue, I was told that the GMT Pepsi was the one to wear!) Now the Rolex is on her wrist or close by all the time, LOL! She also has become a frequent visitor to TRF. I think we got her hooked!

I am grateful every day for having her in my life....she is the "Rolex" of fiances... classy, dependable, well engineered , reliable, beautiful, sparkling, and... well I'm running out of analogies here....feel free to fill in the blanks. At the end of the day, with her on my arm, the Rolex can't even begin to compete!
