Creed is like Rolex.. once you wear a creed, you appreciate it. I wear acier aluminum from creed and it smells like a different planet. Same with original Vetiver from creed.

I think yves Saint Laurent is as good as creed.

Top 2:Absolutely Top Stuff !!

1) Penhaligons Tragedy of Lord George
2) Memo Irish Leather

Very honourable mentions:

3) Aqua di Parma Oud
4) Bleu de Chanel (Prefer the Eau de Parfum above the Parfum .There is a difference in smell .Try it) 150ml cab be considered a bargain against the others
5) Joe Malone Oud & Bergamot .(A bit of inconsistency in scent )
6) Tom Ford Tobacco Oud
7) Tom Ford Fucking Fabulous

The above are my favourites .All very long lasting.I do not include scents that do not last .

I have thrown Creed Aventus out .Weird smell at the end of a warm day .Winter only)

I have great taste but the wife has better. IHO the combo of Duke Cannon and Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille is the best combo for cigar smoking, bourbon drinking men on planet earth!

I like the smell of my shaving cream: Taylor of Old Bond Street's St James.

There is also a fragrance that goes with it: it is clean with some citrus notes

Right now, I wear The One by Dolce & Gabbana or F Black by Salvatore Ferragamo. But summer time, it's Dior Sauvage or Versace Eros.

I've been on a Guerlain kick recently, including Habit Rouge, Shalimar, Heritage, and Vetiver.

This is my collection so far:

RL Safari
YSL L’Homme
Gucci Guilty pour Homme edt
Chanel Bleu de Chanel edt

I’m interested in obtaining a Dior fragrance. The Homme range peaks my interest. There are three Homme on dior.com (besides cologne and sport):

Dior Homme Original EDT
Dior Homme Eau for men
Dior Homme EDT (marked as new on the website)

Which one do you recommend to start with?
Or perhaps Sauvage edt?

Just picked up Creed’s Silver Mountain Water and love it. I have Extereme Noir by Tom Ford and Jimmy Choo Man, I like them both too, I prefer the Tom Ford to the Jimmy Choo, but I’d take the Creed over both.

The ones I currently use the most:

- Creed Millésime Impérial
- Versace Eau Fraîche
- Armani Stronger With You

Got a lot of compliments from women with the Armani

I used to wear Tom Ford Oud Wood, but my wife thinks it's too strong, so now it's one of these three:

Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male
Paco Rabanne 1 Million
Calvin Klein One

Honorable Mention (because it doesn't last very long): Polo Black

So after stepping up and picking up Aventus and GIT for myself (MI for wife), I’ve been sampling some other houses. While I like Royal Oud, original Santal and SMW I wasn’t crazy about them.

So far I’ve gotten samples from PdM, MFK and Xerjoff. Out of the ones I’ve been testing so far I’m leaning towards Naxos and Uden. Nio and Kobe seemed good also.

Wasn’t crazy about MFK as a whole, Baccarat Rouge (very sweet) and Grand Soir were only ones I found to be decent.

Layton was decent but didn’t find it special.

Anyone have anything from these houses or others they like?

Looking for something with some versatility.

If you guys haven't tried it I would deffo recommend Penhaligons Cairo!!!

Also if you ever go to the Middle East, especially UAE then check out Yas Perfumes, especially their Yas Al-Maliki and Zayed perfumes!

Worth a shot, but, would anyone like to trade a Creed Virgin Island Water for an Amouage Reflection Man? Bottle is 65% full.
