Terry Jones, Monty Python Star, Dies Aged 77

So sad.

And he wasn't even a proper woman.

Rest in peace.

I've always loved this BBC piece starring Jones.

Not bad, leaving Holy Grail and Life of Brian as part of your legacy
Rest in Peace Mr Jones
And thank you for the laughs

Somewhere up on a fluffy cumulonimbus cloud 9 are some angels splitting their wings and squeezing angel tears out their peepers as they deal with his wry wit.

Our present place here in Earth will be less funny - but your reward is collecting guffaws from the collected spirits above.

I’m sad for him. You know what role I liked ? I liked his acting in European Bacation. It was a horrible movie , but he was funny. They kept running him over and injuring him he was so polite in the movie. I may have the wrong actor. Sorry. .

Close. That was Eric Idle. Another Python-er.

The Python boys were a unique collection of talent.
People will still be watching their work in 100 years time (if we haven't exterminated ourselves by then)

Agree. Perhaps one of the best examples of British Humour (Brit spelling) there is.

Intelligent and absurd at the same time. All the while kicking the shins of the powers that be.

There will never be anything like them. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monty_..._Flying_Circus

People in the US, due to the indoctrination of the US media and propaganda really didn't understand British/ Aussie/ Canadian humor that loves to tweak power.

There are a very high number of Canadians writing US TV comedy shows these days.
