New Submariner 124060 - Owners care to comment
I have just had the call from my AD that I have been allocated one of the new Submariners, the watch should be at the store in the next few days and the AD will call me to make an appointment for me to view the watch and decide whether to buy.
So, I was just wondering if those people who have been lucky enough to have received their watch have any feedback of those first few days and weeks of ownership, if anyone would care to share a picture or two to brighten the thread that would be great. Thanks 😊

I think you've seen mine already on my incoming, but no issues whatsoever.
It's been a pleasurable last few days and I would recommend it! As mentioned I had my heart set on the date version of mine or the new LV but to be honest I'm loving the no-date a lot more than I thought that now having no date is not so much an issue anymore. |

I cannot comment directly as I’m not an owner but all the threads have been unanimously in favour of the changes and the wearability. A few issues cropping up on QC, so all it takes is some careful and normal assessment of the dial, case and fitting.
If you are after a black sub, especially a no date, this is one incredible piece. I personally like the yellow gold blue dial very much. The TT and the LVC I prefer the previous model, I own those so personally wouldn’t be swapping. However the TT is very very nice. Good luck on your choices and hopefully you will get some imminent owner feedback |

So far, so good
The watch wears very well. A bit smaller to my eye than the 114060, but fractionally so. The biggest difference to me is that is seems to wear a bit thinner. I have no idea why. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts 20200918_152408.jpg20200918_133356.jpg Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk |

I know why Brian, proportions proportions. This is how car designers make their car look wider, lower or meaner. Rolex designers know what they are doing. Regarding the watch looking smaller on the wrist, this was my thoughts also. Again, proportions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My AD offered me the 124060 yesterday. The slimmer lugs look great but I am a bit bothered by the bigger clasp a bit too much for my 6.5 wrist. Was kind of reluctant but finally I decided to pass.

It's stunning!
The coolest watch I've ever owned. I am firmly in the "love the bigger clasp" group; 6.5-6.75 in wrist. |

Love it. Despite the size it’s as comfortable as my 214270 Explorer.
Call me impressed. Fin |
