Warm water, dawn dish soap, a toothbrush and soak after you scrub. Comes out shining good as new

I sure do wish I could unsee that. It looks like a snickers bar was smashed into the bracelet.

Okay, Bas,
Can we hear the real story? Was it buried for years, then found by a metal detector in the park? I have to believe all that schmutz was a forgotten piece that someone just re-discovered after years! |

Actually can’t wait to see the finished product. Still can’t believe someone would let their watch get that grimey. And the smell

That is just disgusting! Too bad you just can't reject those and send it back to the owner.

Thats ridiculous
Ive worn my watch every day for ten years....cleaned it twice....and its still almost perfect. I take a shower daily though, lol Says a lot about the person who would even bring it to a professional looking like that.... |

I would love to see all of that blown out with a pressure washer.

The only thing holding the links together is the funk. An ultrasonic cleaning would find a bunch of Jubilee parts in the basket. I think the watch had to be removed surgically from the owners wrist.

Doesn't that "Patina" make the watch much more valuable?

.. I suppose a positive of that human cement might be lack of articulation thus preventing potential stretch.. Maybe that's a stretch though.

I predict that watch will have a horrendous amount of stretch when that gunk is cleaned (pressure washed ? ) outta there.

Even though the exposed parts have worn flat I doubt the pins are even touching anything in there. Keep us posted Bas. Hang in there buddy.
