Thanks for the work! Do you have a 116610/114060 for comparison with the same measurement techniques? Also measurement across the lugs on the outside between the 11 and 12 Sub would be interesting. Thanks again!

The outgoing sub's bracelet and clasp were better.

They did a mini SD here, but completely out of proportions, it's like a 43mm SD clasp and bracelet in a 41 Sub, LOL.

Now this was helpful...someone do the same with a 116610 and a lot of questions will be answered.

I know that it's so it fits under wetsuit cuffs, but it still surprises me that my Air-King has a thicker case than the Sub.

Thank you!
That's awesome.

I wonder what the Explorer 2 clasp and removable link widths are.
And end link as well.

When you get your DSSD, would like to see bezel measurements.
And clasp width and removable link width as well.

Congrats on the new Sub!!!

SUB41 vs SD43: pic loaded, side by side comparison and caliper measurements.

I have the SD43 & the Hulk. Love both, but even with the slimmed lugs of the new Sub. I still have to say the SD43 is a sexier watch, and it’s just an all around bad ass watch IMO.

AND why in the hell is the is the clasp so proportionately oversized on the Sub❗️ I definitely prefer the old one.

Thanks for the post, great information. The new Sub looks great, there is not a thing wrong with it. It is greatly improved over the previous model.

Great post OP, many thanks for doing this. Now you have both - if you could only keep one, which would it be?

Lots of effort and images etc - a good post,

Prefer the SD43 but obviously both are fantastic watches

Also, thanks for the comparison pics! Lots have been waiting for this!

My measurements only come up with a 5.4mm bezel on the SUB41. I don’t see how that could be 10mm.

Here are some pics. Maybe there’s a different measurement angle?

Unfortunatelly there’s no 11 series in my collection, maybe will add it in the future.

Great collection. I also am a proud owner of the Polar EXPLORER 42. Great watch bought at a very special moment so it will stay forever.
