I've owned a Bluesy but for several reasons it was returned. However, I'm going to visit the AD to see this one in person. Read: see it properly. I might try it again despite my indifference to sports models.

OP: Enjoy you watch in good health - you got a beauty!

Rolex have done some subtle changes to new line up which I like and I do love the new look of the new bluesy. Congrats on the purchase.

The dark blue/navy with out light looks the same. When light hits it, there are 2 different blues. The bluesy is more royal blue and the datejust is a lighter navy blue. They both pop, but the bluesy is more electric when the light hits it. Which is good because my datejust is more conservative. So not the same. Sorry!

I thought so as well. When I put it on, it doesn’t seem as long to me. Also I noticed my watch sits with better balance on my wrist now. Rolex might be on to something here...

Congratulations! It looks beautiful! Glad to hear the clasp is not as large as early pix suggested. I wish they would have stuck with the gold text, on the dial. To me, the white text seems jarring & out of place. Maybe it will look different in person.

I think if you had the gold text before, you would have to get used to it. This is my first bluesy so I don’t notice the text anymore than I would on any other watch.

126613LB Incoming - Welcome Home Bud

I somehow feel the new bluesy looks more attractive than the previous one.. atleast from pictures. I maybe wrong but have anyone seen both side by side to notice any change in dial colour? The blue dial DJ41 is a pretty attractive watch too and I love it but the bluesy shadows the dj! The blue looks pretty electric and gorgeous! Also the white letters looks much better! I love this watch! Congrats to the OP!

Thank you, can’t agree more! I have not compared side by side. I love the white text, very clear to read and matches the date wheel. The slimmer lugs, it is a return to form of the 5 digits, but with the maxi dials. The blue looks similar to the datejust without direct light (navy/black) but when light hits it the bluesy is much for royal. I was worried having both would be repetitive, but the blues look equally as great in their own way, and it is a completely different feel/style. I like these blue sunburst dials because every time you look at them, they surprise you with a different shade. Really cool watches.
