Thanks everyone! It's such a comfortable and light watch to wear I am very surprised!

By the way, if anyone can recommend any good UK watch insurers please let me know! Thanks

Try Highworth Insurance. I was struggling to find insurance but they managed to find house insurance that would cover a decent value of watches. Much cheaper than the likes of Asset Cover for me (which could also be an option).

A great looking Sub! Love the dial simplicity of the 124060. Wear it in the best of health!

Have a chat with Stanhope Insurance, they have helped me move my insurance cover from Direct Line to Axa as Direct Line were getting difficult over the values involved and wanting separate policies away from my normal household/contents insurance, whereas Axa could offer specific watch insurance or include the watches itemised within the normal household policy.

Yes I have paid a bit more but an acceptable increase as the watches are now fully insured for what they are worth, something that DL wouldn't do without having a restrictive separate policy.

Certainly worth having a chat with them, their website allows you to put a brief message on a contact form, Stanhope then call you back. It took about 2 hours before I got the call back, we discussed what I wanted before they went away to put some packages together which I got along with another call a couple of hours later, I reviewed the proposals overnight before agreeing the policy the following day.

They are a broker so have scope to look at different options, a nice friendly process, no pressure to buy.

And, no I am not related to, not part of, or involved with the broker in any way shape or form. I came across their name from a Google search.
