Icon2 New Aspen boutique + 3 new boutique watches

When you want to take a break from the slopes and celebrity watching, there's a new place to hang out in Aspen.

With those wide open windows, pretty much everyone else will see that you're there, too.

"Located in the heart of Aspen’s renowned high-end shopping district, the boutique will welcome year -round residents and travelers who journey to Aspen to experience the inherent beauty of the popular mountain resort destination. The spacious 1,255 square foot, two-storied landmark building with sweeping views of Aspen Mountain features an extensive presentation area, library and VIP area. The boutique has been designed to convey a welcoming atmosphere and follow a simple and classic design, made to enhance the store’s bright, transparent features with nautical accents. In honor of the historic link between Officine Panerai and the Italian Navy, the shapes and materials used throughout the boutique recall the world of the sea: simple lines alternate with wave-like structures. All materials, mainly imported from Italy, have been carefully selected while taking inspiration from the Brand’s Florentine roots. large wall clock features one of the more distinctive features of a Panerai timepiece: the “sandwich” structure of the legendary dial composed by two superimposed surfaces enclose a layer of Super-LumiNova®, used to make the index markers and numerals more visible even in badly lit conditions."

There are even three Aspen boutique modesl to help celebrate:

467 - LUMINOR MARINA - 44mm

482 - RADIOMIR 10 DAYS GMT - 47mm

493 - LUMINOR 1950 10 DAYS GMT ORO ROSA - 44mm

I like the engraving, even if snowy mountains and the Italian navy don't seem to mix?

The gold one is pretty cool, but can't say I'm very much into these boutique special editions, more into limited or no more produced models, especially when I see some on sale they don't seem to be very sought after, having an engraving of the Eiffel tower or something else on the back of my watch isn't something I crave, that's why I bought the 82 "shadow", they had also the "normal" LE but didn't like the engraving, but of course wouldn't say no for the 493

Very cool (pun intended in Aspen) to know.

Kinda strange place, as it's a very seasonal location, but lots of $$.

Appreciate pics Cru!

Boutique looks very nice, although not crazy about the 'boutique edition' watches
