Panerai Service Alternatives

I've recently joined the Panerai family and have what I think is an awesome 121. It is about 11 years old and looks pretty damn good. The two problems I have with it are that it loses about a minute a day and the top chronograph button is very hard to push. Now I know people are much more likely to complain about a problem than praise good or excellent service, but I am a little leery of sending my watch to Ft Worth (unlike my recent good experiences with RSC Dallas). So I can't find much about satisfaction with alternatives like Govbergs in Philly. They seem to handle practically all makes and models. And with this being an El Primero movement, the fact that they also are Zenith ADs is comforting. Any advice would be appreciated.

I'd call ABC Watchwerks and ask Edvi. He'll give you an honest answer on if they can service the movement or not. They do service in-house movements provided no new parts are needed, which is most likely the case.

I sent two watches in for warranty work and was happy both times. I did however send them in through my AD (Shreve) who carefully recorded all the nicks and scratches when I brought them the watch so any subsequent damage would be easy to attribute to PASC (and I assume PASC knows that Shreve and other ADs follow this protocol).

Thanks for the suggestions. I sent in an email to Edvi so we will see what he says. I would definitely include a service request that incorporated a lot of photos so that the pre-service condition isn't debatable

It kind of seem like sending through a boutique helps. No word from Edvi yet :(
