Incoming - First Rolex 124060

Yes, opening your first Rolex box is somewhat of an exhilarating experience even if within the comfort of your own home. I did consider the AD route and I do have my name in a couple of places and maybe one day I will get a call for a watch I want to own and wear but in the meantime I really feel in love with the new Sub no date. Finding the right seller was not easy as there are many options but given that I live in CA and will soon travel to LA I chose to go with 'OCRolexguy' and I got very lucky that he happened to have an unworn no date 124060 Submariner. Ordered yesterday and today I get to admire this beautiful watch!

Now waiting for my Bergeon screwdriver to arrive so that I can properly size it and start wearing it. For now here it is:

Classic watch. Congratulations!! You might want to consider taking it to an AD to size, since this is your first Rolex. If you scratch it or strip a screw, you will be very upset. Best of luck with your new watch!!

Hell of a watch for your first Rolex. 114060 my first. Got the datejust blue, rootbeer, bluesy and now back to just the 124060. Got rid of all the others because they didn’t compare in wrist time. Might add more, but my 124060 is always the best.
