Submariner Date vs. Omega Diver 300M
Wondering if anyone has the Submariner Date 116610 LN and the Omega 300M Diver 212.30.41.20.01.003? If so, would that person or persons care to share their experiences and/or reviews for these two watches? Both now have ceramic bezels and Rolex has the upgraded bracelet and clasp from the 16610 model, thus probably making these two watchs very comparable in terms of features and appearance. However, the price is probably something else altogether.
I already have a Submariner Date 16610 and was thinking about adding a Omega 300M to my collection in the near future along with a Submariner Date 116610 LV. Thanks in advance for any who reply with their experiences. |

I have both and my first thoughts are as follows. The Omega has a lower profile and comes across as a more dressy watch. That will really depend on what kind of band you use. I had mine on a Nato but just recently put it back on the original band. The omega's bezel is harder to use. The edge is kinda slick and the profile is lower.
The Rolex is a beefier watch and to me the one of the ultimate sport watches. Thinking about it I have no complaints at all. |
