Hi All,

Asking for a friend, is there any good reputable watchmakers in Miami beach that can change a battery on a ladies patek? Any idea on approx cost?

Thank you

send it in. AFAIK its not that easy to do. Ive heard on AP quartz you basically have to disassemble it to get to the battery. Maybe the Patek is like that too. I wouldn't want to find out after the fact though

Naww, any good watchmaker could change it w/o a problem. Its about the only thing I would have a non ad do. My wife’s ellipse is quartz and have had battery changed for about 10 bucks. Also the AD , if there is one there probably can do it - not difficult on Patek. Unlike an AP. Hope this helps. James in San Antonio Tx.

There are lots and lots of people that can do this. I would go to the Seybold building that is over by American Airlines Arena. There are many high-end watch dealers in there who could do this in five minutes. If you are by Adventura then I would go over to the Aventura jewelry exchange and there are 20 guys in there they could do it easily. Gray and Sons in Bal Harbor could also do it without even blinking. Same for East Coast Jewelers in Sunny Isles.

Make sure you dont give it away to the dealers on Diamond street. You end up getting a franken back.
