Patek travel pouch question

Hello! I would appreciate if someone here can shed some light on my questions.

Does PP usually give you a travel pouch to go with your newly purchased PP watch?

And when you service your watch, will they return the watch with a service pouch?

If yes to the above questions, do you mind sharing what it looks like? TIA!

I have gotten travel pouches on each of my Patek purchases. But i'm not sure if other AD's do the same for their customers.

Same here. I got a travel pouch when purchase my Patek last year. My AD told me that they used to not come with the purchase but it was added since 2020. However, she said it’s a change in their company policy (the jeweler, not Patek, I believe).

Whenever I had a Patek serviced at their service center near me it came back in a travel pouch. Long and thin for strap and more box shaped for bracelet, but the variant with soft sides. You can find loads on ebay and C24 if you want to know how they look.

Yes, you get the travel case with every purchase and 2019/2020 seems about right when they introduced that policy.

Even before that you received the watch back from PP service in exactly the same service/travel cases but that might depend also on the region where you live.

The case looks like this:

Just ask your AD they have loads, they are really handy when storing your Pateks in a safety deposit box or safe.

Yes I agree. The Patek watch cases are very nice quality.

They gave me the same travel pouch in the picture above with my purchases and a different one when a watch comes back from service (like this one below).

Comes down to the AD, they won't just give or sell them to you.

I've tried to get extras just as a purchase and they've unfortunately denied that haha.

There are other brands out there that are just as good. I also have a 3 watch holder from Phase de Lune (which is the manufacture for the Patek pouches as well).

Huh? Mine looks really different, it is a double watch roll that has space for two watches or one watch and cufflinks (you can substitute one cushion with a special insert to hold them). A very nice one, but aside from the outside leather it looks nothing like the ones in the pictures here.

Could be the version the AD ordered. Gifts are usually dependent on the AD. Some in the past have given caps or ties, etc. Probably the most useful gift is the travel pouch (whichever version it may be).

I do like their caps with the simple "PP" logo, but never got one. Those secondary prices for a cap is insane as well.

Doesn't yours look like two of the 1-watch rolls in the first pic from the outside? I had the corresponding 4-watch roll (which could also house cufflinks instead of one of the watches). Too big for my liking and off it went. The second pic shows the soft-sided box in which the bracelet watches come back from service.

Yes, in a way, it looks like this. I really like it though.

My Experiance is that the travel pouch comes with new Patek Philippe purchase. The burgundy card box is something different which the watch initially comes in (double sealed) and it also comes in back from service.

Coasters, travel wallet with passport holder and two travel cases and a world time watch!

Just be careful with the buttons, you don't want to scratch your watch (or perhaps I'm just too paranoid!)
