Haha. I love all the holier than thou people talking about how only children refer to nicknames.

I refer you to the numerous threads where grown adults take pictures of their watch with other inanimate objects.

But hey.. you do you..

Rolex settles it, for once and for all. Batman or Batgirl

I believe the reference is the 126710BLNR with Jubilee Bracelet and YES this has been settled!

Please Remember... Only You Can Stop the Spread Of Stupid Nicknames for Beautiful Watches!

Just Say NO to "batgirl"!

Yep. For better or worse. That's how nicknames work

Who are you trying to convince? I have heard Batman uttered back to me in public. The Batgirl is a fringe name at best, only in writing or on the internet. The refuge of trolls and the ignorant, unaware that the name comes from the bezel & the bracelet has no bearing, just like on the Pepsi.

Thats a gross image!

If I am lucky enough to get one it will make me wince and smile at the same time if someone comments with that name, I am sure!

Surely it has to be Batgirl due to the effeminate bracelet, it just makes sense?

Now there's a man that knows Batman. By the way, how's Robin been lately?

Here here homey. Effeminate...what? You probably don't even own a Rolex since ever Rolex owner knows what great bracelets the Jubilees are. I smell a troll!

The ENVIOUS triggered by something Better, Newer and something they can not afford has caused all of this

Some good points to note:
"...was dreamt up by Older Version owners to annoy New Version owners..."

"...The refuge of trolls and the ignorant, unaware that the name comes from the bezel..."

The jubilee bracelet has always been a bit camp, even more so nowadays with it being so shiny and jewellery like. Nothing wrong with that if you like the look. Don’t get upset by others opinions, surely it only matters what you think of it.

You mean like your “opinion” that I couldn’t afford a Batgirl?

Batgirl owners: “I own a Batman”
Still Everyone else: “Very nice, which one Batman or Batgirl?”

I’ve just noticed the picture of your watch and now understand why you were offended by my comment about jubilee bracelets being effeminate. Wowsers did you get yourself a free handbag when you bought that thing?!

It was colloquially called the blue black GMT and still is today when the 126710BLNR was released in 2013. Then the first nickname for it before even Batman came about was Bruiser but I guess that didn't stick and it faded into obscurity.

I’m only going to tell you guys one time to knock it off. You’re both acting like children and will both be banned if it continues. Drop it, now.
