Picking Questions

I know that watches are to be enjoyed without much looking down the road. However, I am wondering if one takes good care of his watches, which should hold value or appreciate better (percentage wise between purchase at AD price and future resale): submariner date, seadweller 43 red, deepsea blue, GMT II BLNR. Personally, I prefer seadweller and deepsea because I like wrist presence but I also want to factor the initial value paid as well as future value!

Also, for wife, is the blue or black stick dial better on 36 datejust with jubilee and fluted bezal?

Thanks in advance

Judging by the content on the post, possibly they/he can’t.
Many now only buy if there is a decent return, treating a watch like a stock market investment.

In many ways it’s sad how it’s become.

Have to agree its sad today that Rolex watches have now become little more than $$$$£££ object things.Once people bought Rolex watches because they were very accurate long lasting watches. Then worn and enjoyed for many many years hopefully in good health.

I agree. Sad state of affairs that I find myself visiting this forum less frequently.

Check out chrono24 if you are focused on resale. If you wear the watch then you should hopefully at least get your money back in the future. Presuming it's still popular and the amount of time you wear it. The condition etc. Anything else is a bonus.
