Lovely pic. I had this watch but ended up selling it as it was too big for my wrist overall I felt. This watch in a 39mm would be unstoppable.

I think the BB58 will be synonymous with Tudor as the Submariner to Rolex and the Speed-master to Omega. IMHO you can’t go wrong with either BB58; the original or the Blue.

The blue BB58 has the making of an instant classic. It carries the Tudor Submariners heritage color scheme from the past. Its case size is similar to the classic divers of the 1950s. There is a vintage flair due to the fact it lacks the crown guards. The domed sapphire crystal distorts the edges of the dial in a cool, esthetic way just as the Hesalite crystal of the Speed-master.

Since you already owned a Rolex GMT, it makes more sense to get the Tudor BB58. However, the Tudor GMT is an excellent choice too if you are into GMT watches FWIW. Cheers !

I like that Tudor offers watches on nice straps. This is the one I own...

The BB GMT & Blue Pelagos are my must haves. The THC is a close runner up.

Shouldn’t it be more about what you like in your wrist than the “must have”?

What if you don’t like the “must have”?

That said .... go for a Black Bay of any variation

Beautiful! So are those the bb58? Only major difference between bb58 and bb are the size, correct?

I recently acquired a Black Bay 79230N - and I'm very happy with this. Still in the honeymoon phase. It's been 6 or 7 weeks now and still haven't ding'd it yet.

I owned the Black Bay GMT and am considering the BB58 Black. I think both of these are fine watches and look great in a collection. I would say get something that complements what you already have or what you like (much like Padi said). Good luck and let us know what you pick.

I have a Black Bay Steel, and while it's a great watch, my favorite watch in Tudor's lineup is the Heritage Black Bay 41. If I didn't have an Explorer, I would buy one.

Also, Tudor Big Block's and Vintage Subs are AWESOME

Agree with this 2. Great size, thin and absolutely comfortable to wear

+1 I’d add that while I’m a Tudor fan, in honesty there probably aren’t any Tudors at the level of “iconic” the way Speedy is for Omega. Of the options listed above, the snowflake Sub probably comes closest. Out of the modern options, it’s the Pelagos IMO.

BB S&G (41). On leather strap, I really like gold accents on this watch. I prefer this model on leather but I know it is personal. And BB 41 is a bit thick so wearing it on a strap makes it look smaller than on a bracelet.

The blue one is of course BB58 and I really like it on this fabric strap. I’m waiting for it!

I might be partial but I would definitely recommend the original Black Bay 58!

I agree with many of the models mentioned already (BB GMT, Pelagos LHD, BB 58 Blue). If you are looking for something a bit more formal, with date, and you are OK with a 36mm case width, you could consider the Prince Date Day. These can still be found NOS, with warranty, from online dealers in Hong Kong. Mine started as a silver linen/mosaic dial, but I swapped to a blue dial.

Yeah me too. I’ve tried. Owned the Tudor GMT twice but didn’t keep them long.
