Absolutely gorgeous! I'll be trying one on next Saturday - I've got a feeling Sunday will be spent scrounging up a deposit!

There should be forum rules against this type of shameless enabling. Where the hell are moderators?

A whole bunch of you started the same nonsense after the SD4K came out and despite my best efforts to resist.... I finally had to send a lifeline out to Thanh Do. Thanks to his lightening delivery my fever was cured & I have been all right until now.

Unfortunately, I'm starting to feel a bit strange again and my wife won't be happy!
that might have been me, for some strange reason i ended up with the first SD4K on the forum.

Whoops, there were a couple of stray stickers.... Off now! As far as how it wears, I do find it wears a bit larger than the 116520. I I felt like the 116520 wore like a 38.5 and the C wears like a 39.5 which I love bc I'm a fairly big guy (5'11, 230).

I will let the wife know - she didn't believe me when I said it was someone else's fault!

These outdoor shots are concerning me, does the bezel really lose its deep-blackness like that or is it just hard to capture accurately on camera?

I disliked the old version of the Daytona because of its silver bezel and loved this new version because of its contrasting black bezel. I hope what I'm seeing isn't accurate, I hope that it's not only deep black at particular angles.

Have you ever spent time/owned a ceramic sub/gmt? The bezel varies from black to charcoal. It's one of the best features imho.

I think I spotted a black dial DaytonaC over on a car forum I visit.

I asked if this was the new 116500 or simply a ceramic bezel added to a 116520.... will advise soon!
