The snow was pretty good for a groomer lover like me.

Big Place. Great mountain.
If you go, check out Chet's Bar & Grill in the Huntley lodge. Nice place!

My son’s SL JR skis and boots came in - they’re ready to go. Looks like Mammoth is the only best bet right now. Happy skiing.

I don't get it, why the posting of all your skis and boots?

I have no comment other than I suppose that sharing skis and boots on a ski thread is somewhat good to help stimulate conversation around the sport in general. Each ski each year have different technology and it's pretty common to share equipment. Hope that helps.

I don't know. Maybe because this thread is about skiing, and skiing involves gear which evolves rapidly, and we are sharing our love of the sport. I'd suggest not looking at any threads about cars or watches, because you'll probably see photos of cars and watches.

I love the skis and boots. I think we may all share a love of “tools”since we’re on a Rolex forum and skis and boots are certainly the tools for skiing. Form=> function=> beauty.

Very clever. I think skiing is not unlike golf where every participant thinks the newest piece of equipment is going to turn him into a Stein Erikson. Isn't going to happen no matter how much you spend, but you will look cool while standing in the lift lines.

The evolution of skis, bindings and boots over the last 20 years has definitely raised the performance level of almost anyone who skis. The straight to shaped design of skis was revolutionary. Boot design has definitely decreased the number of tib-fib fractures sen in the ER. Now, the torn ACL is the new boot-top fracture.

Joey sounds like you’re recovering from the flu. I was thinking about you last night after seeing so many alarming articles about how severe and dangerous this year’s strains are.

Went to the clinic today, as I wasn't getting any better. I've developed additional symptoms that made the doctor feel I would respond to antibiotics, and I was happy with this idea, as I've never been this sick so long. If all goes well, I'll be skiing by the end of the week. In my entire life, I've never been kicked this hard by and infection.

I'll have to grab some pics later but just picked up new boots this year and am just under 3 weeks out from a 10 day trip to Zermatt. They've been getting hammered with snow so am pretty stoked for the trip.

This weekend may be the finale of the ski season, but April skiing in Minnesota is pretty rare, so we're enjoying it immensely. Wearing my Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon DEVGRU watch with the black dial and red suspension.

Haven't skied in years. In fact the last time was before snow boarding was a thing.
