1C is a little chilly. Definitely not cold though, still running in shorts.

Yup. That’s cold. Surprised you didn’t ‘have’ to suddenly go on a business trip somewhere warm this week!

It has warmed up a bit here in MN. It's now +5 F. We have been getting about -15 F at night. I remember in 1983 the week before Christmas it was -29 F at night and -17 F for a high! And that's in Mpls. In International Falls, the nation's icebox, it can reach -50

It’s supposed to be 7F (-14C) tonight, which is pretty chilly for this area. The drive to work this morning was 30 miles of snow packed on ice. By the time I left work they had only cleared half of it.

Yeah, that's rather cold for AR! Here the roads are pretty clear even though salt doesn't work well, if at all, below 0. I think they have some other chemicals they use such as magnesium and calcium chlorides. There is always a chorus of people complaining about the use of these agents. These are the same people who complain that the roads are icy.

I think G is fanning the flames in the fireplace, watching the lazy smoke from his cigar waft upward, and sipping on a hot toddy of sorts.... well, maybe with the "Tequila" favorite, waiting for the thermometer to thaw....

You OK G? Can always put on a double pair of 'happy socks'...

That’s crazy!! So it’s -1 at night and a couple days later it’s 27 during the day??? I’ve never seen weather have such a drastic change. Winter to summer in 6 days!?!?

I hope so. It is cold enough to freeze the plumbing in regions that don’t see much freezing weather. I have all my taps trickling now.
