26320 or 15202

I know one is a chronograph, however they are near each other in price. I want a RO as my next piece but I don't want to "settle" for the 15400. Anyone's opinion and why would be appreciated.

Hmm...don't think the 15400 is settling.

I would prefer the 15202 because of the dark blue petite tappiserie dial and size.

Didn't mean for it to sound like that. I would love to have a 15400. Poor choice of words.

But you would prefer to have a 15400, I saw both IRL and totally understand you, I get that guys with huge wrists pick 15400 or others which need a second hand, but seeing both, the 15400 did nothing special to me, the Jumbo on the other hand I loved, the proportions and overall feel are perfect, so for me Jumbo in a heartbeat, I like the look of some chronos but you never use them, the Jumbo is just perfect...

Jumbo. I would wait on the 26320. I have a feeling a ro chrono with in house movement is coming soon.

I have been doing research for the last day. Looking at everything I could short of handling one and I agree, the 202 is my choice as well. Thanks for the input.

ROC for me, the 202 doesn't quite do it for me, I'd rather go for a BY 5402.

I had the 15202 and traded it for a 26320 with blue dial. You can't go wrong with either.

For me, the biggest issue with the 15202 was the size and weight. The Jumbo was just a bit too delicate for me. I love the Jumbo's ultra thin movement and its history, and I do miss it's sapphire case back. But for me and my 7" wrist, the 26320 just has better proportions and versatility. And the F. Piguet movement is no slouch.

Having owned both, I can say that the finishing is just as good on the chronograph as the Jumbo. In fact, with a more substantial case and bracelet, the quality of the finishing might be more apparent on the 26320.

I had originally preferred the calmer and darker dial of the 15202. That changed once I saw the dial of the chronograph in person - it's just much more alive.

It really comes down to what you're looking for - for me, the 15202 is more elegant, subdued and professional while the 26320 is more lively, functional and versatile.

For me, the chrono was the right choice. I do miss the Jumbo from time to time though.

Good luck - as I said earlier, you can't go wrong.
