Maybe sellers can be asked to include watch location (US, EU, UK etc) in the ad title as part of selling rules so the search facility makes finding those ad’s easier

Watchfinder are pretty much single handedly responsible for driving up the used prices in the UK of stuff like 16610LV's and any other SS sports model.
Some of their prices are crazy - even for average condition examples.
The problem is everyone else uses them as a bench mark so then raise their price to suit.
Don't get me started on their NOS flat 4 prices... ridiculous.
I don't agree that they are the only trusted seller in the UK though.
Ian Blower & Mark Worthington are just 2 that spring to mind.
Both have quite an extensive stock of new unworn & nearly new watches from all the major brands.

Simply a suggestion, aimed at finding ads a bit easier.

I also appreciate I'm not currently a pledge member. I do however thoroughly enjoy the forum, and the variety of contributions made.
Any vendor can put UK in their ad heading if they wanted to point that out to a buyer. I don't think that many would though as they likely do not want to have anybody skip over their ad in other countries.

Wow, your reading/feeling skills are remarkable.

I simply demanded/wanted/asked for Nigeria to have a dedicated sales section as well.

Oh hello. Don’t you think you should get off that high horse your riding first.

Who is demanding. The “good idea” is not a demand.

How about you or someone else who can make it happen give us something before we become pledge members

If your comment was meant to upset me, you succeeded effortlessly.

I know a few good sellers in the UK and I also have bought from Miltonairs. Some of his watches are new with stickers, some below list and the popular SS above list. Haywood Milton is on the forum and is a font of knowledge. I have never had a problem dealing with him.

. . .

You mean something like an ad free, world-wide, watch enthusiast run, place to come, freely, to discuss and enjoy watches and interests with other like-minded enthusiasts?

Lmao. FairPlay that actually made me laugh.

But let’s be clear I haven’t seen anyone demanding anything. Hence why I was so irked at your comment.

I don’t actually look at the FS section on here because I have never found anything that was in the UK for sale.

If it’s to much to do or complete aggro all you had to was say so and I and probably everyone else would forget the idea.

they are freely dispensed. You asked for something for free. That is always on offer.

The other thing is if you are around SE/London, where most traffic is, then you don't have to post an expensive watch if you are selling, I think they also have a Leeds branch too, so they have the shipping aspect better covered than most dealers too. They ask a lot but they usually bid the most too in general. Blowers comms are very poor, MW and Iconic have no London office, and Chronext and Xupes prices are poor, so WF have the edge.

Dont let them get to you as they seem to enjoy rubbing us brits up the wrong way.....not sure why.....if you bite they all come down on you like a ton of bricks.

I like your idea as i too dont bother looking through 5 million ads on the off chance of finding something im after...

Perhaps just the ability to search by keyword uk would be helpful but clearly just the idea of it is annoying the sh*t out of them...

A US ton or a UK ton? Just asking for clarification as the weight is different

Wow. Speechless.
