is it me or does search function not work here?
The rolex forum layout is similar to other forums but I can not get search to work properly.
For example, I will be in the non-rolex watches for sale forum and click near top right to 'search this forum.' I'll enter any watch maker but always get the message that nothing was found. Am I missing something? |

It is working for me. But, I know it can be quirky for some searches.

It’s quirky, at best. It never works well for me.

As mods have pointed out, you can use Google against TRF threads also.

Why bother with search, just start a new thread. J/K

If you’re using a browser on a laptop or PC, try the advanced search function.
It’s working for me either way. Sent from my iPhoneX using Tapatalk

I've had short strings not work. For example, searching on IWC never seems to work right. But generally, I can make both basic and advanced searches work.

Forum software in general will not handle search strings shorter than four characters. It takes too much resources. If you need to search for IWC here just use google and add "site:rolexforums.com" to your search terms.
