ROLEX Submariner Wrist Watch

Dear Team

After winding it 40 times the watch stops when I lock the winding key (crown)
This happens 5 minutes, or in 10 mins or in 1 hr or after 3 hours. some time it stop exactly at 1 to 3 am why? what is the solution.

When I do not lock the watch is runs very smoothly, what is the issue?

Regards
Thomas Joseph

Unfortunately something that you won't be able to fix yourself.

Sounds like something is causing excessive friction when the crown is screwed in. I would suggest a trip to RSC is order.
