I Finally took some better photos. Still super happy with the work Phillip did. I also bought a little UV light so I could at least see the lume on it.

OP, please get that vintage beauty insured, it would be a hard one to replace if anything were to ever happen to it.
Get proper watch insurance which covers having the watch ripped off of your wrist. Home owners insurance riders usually dont cover this and only cover in the home.

This is a very understated watch by today’s standards. You think it’s more prone to that sort of theft than a modern explorer?

Lovely watch. It's such a pleasure to have a well oiled vintage that is ready to tick for years to come.

As an ex-insurance company owner, I can advise in the UK at least, that most decent policies have an 'away from the home cover' for portable valuables such as watches, jewellery, phones, documents etc with a modest excess of 10% usually. Nice piece ,well preserved btw

I actually did have Phillip provide a letter of appraisal so that I could get it insured. I haven't looked into it yet but should make it a priority.

Thanks for all the compliments and info everyone!

I like the State Farm articles policy, they will insure if it is ripped from your wrist. Most dont cover this unless you specifically ask for the coverage.
