Richard Mille Straps?

Picking up a RG RM005 here shortly (my first RM), where do you guys get your OEM straps from? Do the RM Boutiques usually have a good selection or do they need to be ordered? Believe straps from the RM010 and a few other models should fit, I am mostly looking for non-rubber straps which I presume are less popular.

cant help regarding fitment..

RM here wont sell you straps/accessories unless ur a customer

currently they arent even taking orders for straps as theres production issues and are backordered.. i heard there a max order of 3 per year now because people started hoarding straps as you can see them selling for double the price

Haha that’s straight pathetic.

Shortage my ass. They know more straps means less watch sales. People buy a strap to change up the look.

RM010 strap will not fit the 005.

You need RM002 RM005 RM006 RM014 RM019 or RM023, they share the same strap width.

P/S .. Crocodile/Alligator straps are substantially more expensive than the rubber strap because RM oem leather strap are double sided crocodile/alligator.

Good luck.

ordered a S size strap last March at the boutique for RM 5. I brought the watch and they said 6 month wait time unless I get the M size which they had in stock, I said I am prepared to wait. I was debating between velcro and rubber so they said why not order both which I did. Fast forward 6 months. They said they don't produce rubber anymore and they changed the design of velcro. I am ok with the new design but one catch is that they wont make any more S size and I should just get the M size. I balked and now they are not replying to my email. A friend says this is typical RM customer service. wow.

You don’t need rm5.. Rm23 strap is a perfect fit.

I am not surprise they no more issue RM5 strap since it had been discount for a long time plus rm23 straps fit just fine.

RM002 RM005 RM006 RM014 RM019 or RM023 all share same measurement.

Can you please kindly share some close up HD photos on the fit and finishing? Are they factory RM straps? Thank you

RM010 Straps WILL fit the Rm005

The straps for the RM010 will fit the RM005. There is a nearly unnoticeable fraction of a mm gap between the strap and the case. The width of the strap and metal insert are the same. This tiny gap doesn’t bother me at all. Of course the straps for the RM023 & RM002 are an exact fit.
