nice! did you use smaller pins or modify the endlinks to make the bracelet fit?

My Omega rep ordered the thinner spring bars. Fits perfectly but you do have to move the pins into their place.

I was encouraged by the fact that the place in line they provided at the beginning in 2020 through now has been fairly reliable, like an actual list with what seemed to be spending history more or less locked in with not too much deviation (unlike other big brands, ahem, Rolex).

This was a pleasant surprise. Pleasant surprise #2 was that the price did not increase along with the rest of the watches since release, so purchase price was as announced.

So basically, could communications have been better? Yes. But once the covid supply chain mess got more sorted out by late 2021, I think Omega was able to be a bit more predictable.

At least enough for them to redeem themselves for that launch of a mess that was moonswatch!
Indeed, I did get mine back in November 2021 from the Houston OB. They were fairly accurate with their Q4 estimated delivery once the C19 supply issues were sorted in Q1 2021.

The OB manager mentioned to me in April 2022 that they've received all of their allocations from Omega HQ and aren't receiving anymore Snoopy's.

The thinner Omega spring bars work but I found using ultra thing ones you can buy from watch part dealers like Ofrei or Esslinger work better. Since they are thinner than the thinnest Omega spring bar, the bracelet goes in easier. I tried both and it worked best with the aftermarket spring bars, still swiss made just not Omega.

Very nice.

Is the lug to lug width the same on the snoopy as the 321?

Looks incredible, very striking. I personally like it even. Better on the bracelet. This is my favourite of the iconic Snoopy watches.

It’s ever so slightly shorter than the straight lugged 321, but wears wider on the wrist. It definitely wears bigger than the 321, but not overly so.

Sorry, I didn’t word my question very well!

Are the end links the same widths on both watches? Are the bracelets the same widths? I think the Snoopy is about 20 mm but I thought the 321 was a mm narrower. I thought that the flat link 321 bracelet would be loose between the lugs of the Snoopy and that a bracelet which would snuggly fit a Snoopy would be too wide for a 321.

Sorry for the confusion.

Ah, my apologies. Yes, the snoopy is 20mm and the 321 is 19mm. The flat link there is the same as the 321 but the 20mm version from the Apollo 11 50th anniversary watch. It fits the snoop but with thinner springbars due to the lip on the end link.

To add, I had the Apollo 11 bracelet on my 1861 before getting the 321. I used uncle seiko endlinks with regular springbars but the thinner springbars also work. In addition to the 20mm vs 19mm, the actual end link is completely different in shape. The Apollo 11 endlinks is very flat, slightly depressed relative to the lugs and gives a prominent angle between the end link and first link when draped on the wrist, a bit like a drop off because there isn’t much cutaway in the end link. In contrast, the Ed White 321 is ever so slightly curved for seamless integration with the lugs. The connection from end link to first link also differs with a larger cutaway in the end link to give a smooth transition when draped on the wrist.

Absolutely stunning! I think I might have ordered mine from the same boutique! Out of interest, did you order back in 2020 and then continually pop back in for updates, or did you just respond to email updates and wait for the lucky day? I haven’t had the call yet but paid deposit back on launch day- thanks!

Hi thanks feels amazing to finally get this one. I put down a deposit at launch.

I happen to live quite near the Trafford Centre and I usually pop in every second Monday to meet a friend and have a chat with the teams at the OB, Tudor and Rolex Goldsmiths stores who we know quite well.

I did talk with the OB Manager quite regularly and tried to get updates whilst keeping a positive spin on things.

They know I am a big fan of special edition Speedmasters having picked up my Ultraman and Apollo 11 50th from them over the last few years.

They have, unfortunately, only had 2 watches so far from Omega which is as frustrating for them as it is for those on the waiting list who have paid a deposit.

So is it agreed that non Boutique will never get them?
I was speaking with a WOS branch recently who said they have been told they won’t get any and they thought it was discontinued but clearly that is not the case. Has anyone picked one up from a non Boutique?

They have been delivering to ADs (non boutique) since December 2021.
During the past months the deliveries to ADs actually increased.
You just need to be a good client!

My update. A few weeks ago my Snoopy 3 landed!!

My thoughts: I love everything about it. The only problem is that every time I wear it, I get an urge to add Snoopy 1 and 2 to complement it:)

The single best perk about the wait was that I got to interact a lot with the same gentleman extraordinaire who assisted me with this acquisition from deposit to delivery. Great guy and I’m proud to now call him a friend:)

I will be wearing this often until the real owner trades me his Paw Patrol watch for it :)

Snoopy 50th Anniversary, made a deposit today.

To my fellow Brits:

I’ve heard from my Boutique that many of the watches popping up in the UK are actually not UK supplied, and that Omega still has many orders yet to be fulfilled our side of the pond.

Here’s hoping that means anyone with a deposit/order in need only be patient, and will get their watch before Omega inevitably removes the reference from the catalogue…

Anyone else had any update on ETA (estimated time of arrival, not the movements, haha)? I know I’m anxiously awaiting the call, I’m paranoid Omega will cease production before I get mine in hand!

Beautiful snoopy 2 is a close contender, but you have the best of the 3 there IMHO! Wear in good health!

Well I took the plunge. Figured I have no shot at getting one at a boutique… ordered a Snoopy 50th from DavidSW a few minutes ago. Couldn’t pass it up. Beyond excited for this one. Pics to follow.
